8. Management & Maintenance

Yes. The Legacy at State College has an on-site management team that supports residents with day-to-day questions and community needs.

The on-site team helps with maintenance requests, package delivery, lease questions, and other resident needs that come up during office hours. This gives residents a direct point of contact for everyday support within the community.

Yes. Residents can contact the on-site team for maintenance requests when something in their apartment needs attention.

Residents can submit maintenance requests through the online resident portal. The on-site management and maintenance team also assists residents with maintenance-related needs.

9. Leases, Contracts & Payments

The Legacy at State College offers individual housing contracts. This means each resident signs their own contract for their bed space rather than sharing a joint agreement for the entire apartment.

Monthly installment payments are due on the first day of each month. Payments are considered late after 9 a.m. on the fifth day of the month.

Residents can make monthly installment payments through the online resident portal or by bringing a check to the office. The resident portal is also used for account access and other resident services.

Monthly installment payments include high-speed internet, electricity, water and sewer, and trash, as well as access to the community’s amenities and common spaces.

Yes. Residents are required to carry liability insurance as part of the housing contract. Residents can either provide proof of their own coverage or be automatically enrolled in the property’s damage waiver program for an additional monthly fee.

Yes. The Legacy at State College allows housing contract assignments and provides a contract assignment process for residents who need to transfer their agreement.

The housing contract is 12 months long and runs from September to August.
